Explore nature through your own lens. This camp is aimed at supporting our campers with special needs. KNC works to provide experiences for all young ones to learn, experience, and find joy in nature. Search for water creatures. Find, draw, and identify insects and the plants they depend on to survive. Dig into the underground for the grubs, slugs, and other soil loving critters. Each day is filled with wonder, exploration, sensory friendly play, nature art, hands on activities, and learning different aspects of our environment and how it all works together.
Note: This camp is led by an experienced staff with support by a teacher with a special education certification. Ratios will be one adult for every three children. All youth are welcome to register for every camp program we offer. This session is for children with unique learning needs. We welcome questions if you are wondering if this is a fit for you. Please bring lunch, if a snack is not enough for your child.
This session is for children aged 9-12 years old. Older campers are welcome to join us in session 7 and younger campers are welcome to join us in session 3.

IMPORTANT: Please complete the camp form located here for each child registered and follow return instructions. All forms must be submitted at least two weeks before your child’s first camp session. Complete Camp forms are required for participation.
